Students presenting papers or posters must submit abstracts by May 9th.
The Saul B. Saila Best Student Paper Award includes a $100 check and plaque.
SNEC offers a certificate and $50 check for Best Student Poster.

Student Travel Awards
for 2008
AFS meeting
Information for the
John E. Skinner Student Travel Award.
This award is offered by the American Fisheries Society and was established in
memory of John Skinner, former Chapter and Western Division American Fisheries
Society President, to help deserving student recipients travel to the next AFS
meeting. Application deadline May 9th by midnight.
Information for the
SNEC-AFS Student Travel Award.
This award is offered by the Southern New England Regional Chapter and helped a
deserving student recipient travel to the AFS meeting in
Ottawa, Canada on
August 17-22, 2008 to
make an oral or poster presentation. New limited stipend for attending.
