Location and Parking
The SNEC AFS 2010 Summer Meeting will be held at the
Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences Biology Building
at the
University of Rhode Island’s main campus in Kingston, RI.

Driving Directions
From the north, take I-95 South to Exit 9 (Route 4
South) in Rhode Island, follow Route 4 to Route 1 South. Stay on Route 1
until the intersection of Route 138 West. Route 138 West will bring you to
the University. Visitor's Center is on Upper College
Road.
From the south, take I-95 North to Exit 3A (Route
138 East). Continue east on Route 138 to the University.
Visitor's Center is on Upper College Road.
From Newport, follow Route 138 West over the
Newport and Jamestown bridges to Route 1. Take Route 1 South to Route 138 West.
Follow Route 138 West to the University. Visitor's Center is on
Upper College Road.
You can also use the above website to navigate to the campus. Briefly, from
Rte.138 westbound, turn right on Upper College Road and then left on Flagg Road.
Parking Instructions
You must stop at the Visitor’s Center (#107 on the campus map) to pick up a
parking pass and directions on where to park, or you will be ticketed or towed. Tell them you are with the
American Fisheries Society meeting.
